Will these plants grow in my hardiness zone?

The USDA Hardiness Zone Map is a standardized system used to classify regions in the United States based on their average annual minimum winter temperatures. The map divides the country into numbered zones, with each zone representing a 10-degree Fahrenheit difference in the average lowest temperature experienced during the winter months. USDA Hardiness Zone information is sometimes used by gardeners to determine which plants are likely to thrive in their particular area based on temperature tolerances.

Knowing the hardiness zone becomes less critical when planting native plants because native species are inherently adapted to the local climate conditions of the region where they naturally occur. Because we only ship plants to areas where they are native, filtering by zip code before shopping is the best way to see which plants will thrive where you live.
