Eastern Columbine

Aquilegia canadensis

Known for its showy pink and yellow flowers, Eastern Columbine is a striking addition to shady or full shade spaces.  It is a good ground cover or climber, ideal on fence, trellis, or arches. An early bloomer, it will provide nectar for hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and and other wildlife through the spring and early summer.
