Podcasts, Webinars & More with Garden for Wildlife

Garden for Wildlife CEO Shubber Ali on biodiversity, business and more.

Shubber Ali is CEO of Garden for Wildlife. He is a father, husband, avid gardener, and loves nature - and it’s those last two things that led to his current role.

Shubber is a supporter of the National Wildlife Federation since 1994, and gardener for over 25 years. He loves to go hiking and interact with nature, but always thought nature was something that you went somewhere to experience. It wasn’t until he read Doug Tallamy’s book, Nature’s Best Hope, that the dots finally connected for him. He saw why native plants specifically were so important, and that’s when he started transforming his lawn into a Certified Wildlife Habitat. Shubber's decades of gardening allows him to share first-hand experience of how to build habitat and boost your backyard biodiversity.
